From the Editor…

Professional Development should be one of your continuing objectives. In order to keep you professional credentials current and active, you need to obtain PDUs. But bean counting for a credential is not what professional development is all about…

Through professional development activities you also will experience personal development. Anytime that we learn, we grow and improve ourselves — a continuous process improvement. You learn new knowledge, but you will also grow your leadership skills. You gain more confidence and that will spread into other areas of you life. You will also become more valuable to your organization and enhance your future career prospects. Professional development is linked with personal development — I encourage you to take the many opportunities to attend the SOC PMI professional development events in person, or via webinar or through e-learning.
